Housed in Doyle Hall, this newly renovated facility offers a large, inviting dining hall with state-of-the-art audio-visual support and easy handicapped access.  That’s where we’ll enjoy our dinners and dazzling evening events!

Across campus is the newly renovated Plassmann Hall where smart classrooms, varying in size, await us on the first floor. Handicapped parking is just outside the back entry.  Lunches are at Hickey Hall, a short walk to and from our classrooms.

New this year:  breakfasts are included at the three designated hotels.  You’ll come straight to the classrooms from your hotel each morning. There are water fountains but if you’d like another beverage, grab it along the way!

The holiday weekend in early October is typically the peak of fall foliage season in Olean. If the weather cooperates, plan some time to take a walk or two around the campus which is partly bounded by the Allegheny River.

Olean, New York is located approximately:

  • 70 miles from Buffalo, NY
  • 90 miles from Erie, PA
  • 108 miles from Rochester, NY
  • 183 miles from Toronto, Canada
  • 179 miles from Syracuse, NY
  • 195 miles from Cleveland, OH

EGLFC has arranged for a block of rooms at three nearby hotels in Olean: Fairfield Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express and Best Western Plus.  All include breakfast, free WiFi, a swimming pool and fitness room.  Alcohol is not allowed in the public areas.

For those who book early we will have plenty of options for single, double or triple occupancy.  To get the special block room rate (and take advantage of our non-profit status to avoid 13% state and local taxes) you’ll need to book through the EGFLC registration process.

Want to skip the hotel?  We’ll have a commuter option for those driving from home or who prefer to make their own lodging arrangements.
